First publication of the Archie stories, all in 10 original consecutive issues of the Strand Magazine. In their original colourful covers in generally fine condition and held in a protective solander box with gilt titles to dark blue leather spine. Note: December 1920 issue not present as it did not contain an 'Archie' story. Illustrated throughout. Whilst the hardbound six-monthly volumes survive comparatively well, these fragile single issues were not intended to be kept for posterity and are scarce, particularly in this clean condition.
