This is the program for the dedication of a statue and fountain at Carthay Center in Central Los Angeles. The statue and fountain, commemorating the California pioneers that emigrated during the Gold Rush, were sculpted by Henry Lion (1900-1966), a Fresno artist responsible for several pieces of public art in Los Angeles. The statue still stands in an area now known as Carthay Circle. An interesting piece of Los Angeles history.. Book. Book Condition: Collectible-Very Good. Binding: No Binding
